The newest 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 will be available with five engine options. It comes with the standard two-wheel drive system and optional four-wheel drive on some trims. The first engine on the list is lying under the base model a 4.3-liter V6 engine that will come with the Adaptive Fuel Management and is connected to the 6-speed automatic transmission. This engine will give an output of 285 HP and 305 lb-ft of torque.

The next one is the 2.7-liter turbocharged inline-4 offered with the 8-speed automatic transmission. The output of this one is 310 HP and 348 lb-ft of torque. The mighty 5,3-liter V8 engine will be available in two different versions. One comes with the w/Active Fuel Management and 6-speed automatic that is under the models WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, while another one will get an 8-speed automatic transmission and will be offered with the models LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, High Country. Both versions give the same output of 355 HP and 383 lb-ft of torque.

The last one is the most powerful and optional on models LTZ and High Country. This engine is powered with 6.2-liter V8 w/Dynamic Fuel Management and is paired with the 10-speed automatic. This engine is able to make 420 HP and 460 lb-ft of torque.

The MSRP of the newest 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 that includes destination charge will start at $29,800. Other models like Work Truck and Custom will cost $36,100, while the Custom Trail Boss is around $41.000. Furthermore, the RST model will cost  $40,295, while the LTZ and High Country starts at $44,500.
