The Ford Ranger returned to the U.S. markets with glorious fashion. This mid-size Pickup made its debut at the 2018 North American Auto Show in Detroit, just like 2019 Ram1500 and Chevy Silverado. Now, the 2019 Ford Ranger is ready to compete with rivals such as Toyota Tacoma, Nissan Frontier, GMC Canyon and Chevy Colorado.
The Blue Oval brand is well known for its wide lineup of pickups. Beside new Ranger, other pickups like F-150 and Super-Duty lineup are on the offer. However, if Ranger wants to claim on the top, there is a lot of work in front of this pickup.
2019 Ford Ranger Exterior Changes
The upcoming 2019 Ford Ranger is available in few trim levels that are heavily dictating its exterior features. The base model named XL offers functionality over everything else. The mid-range XLT includes more content but it is still far from a work truck. The fans of luxury and performance will have to opt for Lariat trim. On top of that, Ford offers two appearance packages: Sport and Chrome. Those packages are offering unique wheels and skid plates, more ground clearance and an off-road suspension.
The new Ranger comes in two sizes, SuperCab and SuperCrew. No matter what you choose, Ranger looks slick and modern. Steel bumpers make this vehicle a classic American pickup. Ford also promised a Raptor model in the near future, so plenty of options are ahead of the customers. The newest model of Ranger will come with eight exterior color options Saber Orange, Hot Pepper Red, Lightning Blue, Absolute Black, Magnetic Gray, White Platinum, Oxford White and Ingot Silver.

Ford didn’t release fuel economy ratings and the Blue Oval company claims that the new Ranger will come with a class-leading tow rating. Turbodiesel engine is much anticipated and it is a possibility in the future.
At this moment there are no official numbers how many ponds can tow the newest model. However, with the features like Trail Control and Terrain Management System, it will have a great towing capacity. Some rumors circulated that number will exceed the model Chevy Colorado with its 7,700 pounds.
