The upcoming 2019 Ford Raptor is an advanced version of the regular F-150 model. The idea of Raptor is creating a supreme off-road pickup truck with great performances and design. While F-150 received significant updates, the new Raptor follows the same way.
Design changes include more aluminum bodywork, high-strength steel frame, and small dimensional increase. Other updates include upgraded interior and even Ford’s new 7.0L DOHC V8 engine.

2019 Ford Raptor Exterior is much more Sporty
The 2019 Ford Raptor comes with significant exterior updates. Aluminum body panels and bed are bolstered by flared fenders, up front we can see a signature blacked-out grille and new headlights that looks distinctive.
The new tailgate design is included with stamped “FORD” lettering below the center. The taillights are revised as well, and Ford added new exterior colors. Lead Foot, Race Red, and Guard are new paints, while Ruby Red and Avalanche are not in an offer anymore.
The model Raptor is wider than its rivals by six inches and higher by two inches. Parking and maneuvering are not easy, but it is a fun pickup to drive on all types of terrain. Speaking of features, new distinctive headlights units are added, just like heavy-duty skid plates.
Front bumper is unique, tow hooks are available both front and rear and wheels are 17-inch. A panoramic sunroof is optional, however, it is standard on SuperCrew model.
2019 Ford Raptor Interior has the new ambient lighting
Ford clearly thinks that the interior of 2019 Ford Raptor is fine. However, some updates are there, mostly new features. The dashboard has soft-touch materials, and some plastic materials on it feel cheap on higher trim levels.
The single-zone climate control is standard, however, Dual-zone is optional. The steering wheel is leather-wrapped and the new ambient lighting is added as an option, with plenty of customizable colors. The center console looks huge, and it looks good.
Basically, everything inside the cabin that looks bulky fits perfectly to a giant like Raptor. New 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo sound system is added and it replaces old Sony audio system.
2019 Ford Raptor Engine and Performance
Ford started with pushing a V6 EcoBoost powertrain into all of its models, and the forthcoming 2019 Ford Raptor is no different. It means Ford ditched the previous V8 engine and new 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 can produce up to 450 HP.
This drivetrain is coming with a 10-speed automatic transmission and it hits 0 to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds. There are also rumors that this model will get powerful 7.0L DOHC V8 engine.
The new Raptor can tow up to 8000 pounds and it can carry up to 1200 pounds in its bed. Furthermore, Raptor comes with six selectable terrain modes.
Off-roading is now a lot easier and more fun than before, with modes such as Mud and Sand, Baja and Rock Crawl.
2019 Ford Raptor Price and Release Date
The all-new 2019 Ford Raptor will start at $51,500. SuperCrew Raptor’s model offers more luxury and enjoyment for $58,000. The new Ford’s pickup will hit the dealerships in the second half of 2018.
