The all-new 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor will arrive with some more upgrades. The 2019 model already got the new V8 engine and additional exterior refinements. The interior was modernized and now is the time for more innovations. According to the latest rumors, the biggest innovation will be a hybrid drivetrain.
The second-generation F-150 Raptor will get additional performance boost, but most importantly, the fuel economy will see significant improvements. The interior will get the better layout and more premium materials and amenities. New Raptor will become the best Raptor so far. The exterior of the upcoming 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor will get some further upgrades. However, the 2020 model won’t depart from the 2019 model at all. It is the same design language as before, however, new Raptor will be slightly wider. This should provide even better stability and off-roading capabilities. The front part now hosts wider bumper and LED headlights that are sitting higher than before.
To the sides, 17-inch wheels will remain as standard while the all-terrain tires are available too. The rear end now hosts a larger tailgate with massive FORD lettering on it. New Raptor will arrive in two variants, the one with the shorter and the second one with the longer wheelbase.

Besides the suede inserts, the 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor will benefit from the additional use of carbon fiber accents. An all-digital display remains as large as before. The gauge cluster also looks modern but it won’t get any upgrades.

The 2019 F-150 Raptor got an all-new 7.0-liter DOHC V8 engine. You can still opt for this unit, and even the 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor will offer the same engine. However, the 2020 Raptor will get a hybrid drivetrain for the first time in history. According to the latest rumors, Blue Oval will look to pair a smaller 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost with the electric motor.
The total output should provide up to 415 horses and 435 lb-ft of torque. If things go in a desirable way, new Raptor could be the quickest Raptor so far. However, the purpose of a hybrid drivetrain is astonishing fuel economy numbers. The exact fuel economy figures are not available, but F-150 Raptor could arrive with 31 mpg mileage rating.

The forthcoming 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor will keep its price that starts slightly over $50,000. However, the all-new Raptor with the hybrid drivetrain will cost $60,000. The Ford’s latest pickup truck will hit the markets later in 2019.
