General Motors and Ram are stepping up their game so Ford needs to respond in the best possible way. Both light and heavy-duty pickup truck segment are getting better and better. One of the most anticipated models will be the 2021 Ford F-150. The best-selling vehicle in the United States will surely offer numerous options to the customers.
The light-duty pickup offers so many options when it comes to body configurations, engines, trim levels, and packages. Whatsoever, F-150 is offering gasoline, diesel and hybrid variants, along with the special Raptor version. The 2021 model will surely be the best one yet.
2021 Ford F-150 Exterior Is Revolutionary
2021 seems so far away at the moment and it is hard to predict what will the Blue Oval automaker deliver. The automotive giant confirmed the 2021 Ford F-150 Hybrid will be built in the iconic River Rouge Complex in Dearborn, Michigan. The hybrid model will be revolutionary for the pickup truck segment but it won’t depart from the base F-150 model when it comes to exterior design.
The 2020 model will look the same as the current model, probably we can expect some minor tweaks. However, no one knows what 2021 will bring to the markets. It seems the Ford doesn’t plan to change a winning combination, at least not for now. With that in mind, the 2020 F-150 will arrive with slight upgrades, probably enlarged features and more exterior equipment.
2021 Ford F-150 Interior Updates
The same story continues from the inside. The 2021 Ford F-150 will arrive with updated technology for sure. That includes the updates of the infotainment system and other interior high-tech features.
The layout will surely remain, along with the level of comfort. We can only expect some more classy touches, but not significantly more. Safety will be boosted as well and we can expect from Blue Oval to deliver more standard equipment than ever before.
2021 Ford F-150 Powertrain Options
As we mentioned, the 2021 Ford F-150 will arrive in so many different body configurations, special versions, and trim levels. The most anticipated model is the F-150 Hybrid for sure. This model will surely deliver class-leading figures and that includes horsepower, torque, and fuel economy figures. However, Ford is still remaining silent on this topic. The same hybrid model will offer an innovative 400-watt power inverter so the customers can easily plug-in tools, tv, or some other items to charge.
Besides that, gasoline model will offer a 3.3-liter V6 that can produce 290 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque. Even the larger EcoBoost 5.0-liter V8 will be in the offer. This unit generates up to 395 horses and 400 lb-ft of torque. Next engine option is diesel, a 3.0-liter V6 turbo. Exact engine specs are yet to be announced but Ford claims this unit will help the pickup to tow over 13,000 pounds. You can count on Ford F-150 Raptor to become available once again and it will offer an all-new 7.0-liter DOHC V8.

The 2021-Ford F-150 will surely cost more than the current F-150 model. We expect the price to start at around $30,000 or slightly over. Of course, this is the price of the base model. Upper trims such as Limited will cost over $60,000. Diesel and Hybrid variants will cost more than the base model, but not significantly more. The light-duty pickup truck will arrive by the end of 2020 and we can’t wait for more official details to become public.
