The fourth-gen 2021 Ford Ranger pickup truck has been revealed and we got some spy photos. The upcoming model has been spotted near Melbourne – Australia and it is caught completely uncovered. From the images, we can see a different look than on the current Ranger model.
The new pickup looks stronger and the front end will keep the rectangular grille with plenty of chrome accents. Furthermore, the exterior changes are numerous, and we can only expect the same with the interior. However, under the hood, the traditional EcoBoost engine is offered along with two new engines from the international model.
Brief Look Outside The 2021 Ford Ranger
From the images that are circulating over the internet, we can clearly see a new design installed. The front of this pickup is changed and now comes with a rectangular grille and plenty of chrome accents. If we take a look at the F-150 model, we can spot plenty of similarities.
The first one is the grille bars that are almost the same as on the F-150 model. Also, the C-shaped headlights and rectangular fog lights this year will be offered with the latest LED lights. The side of the 2021 Ford Ranger is the same as the current model. However, most uniqueness will be taken by the rear end with the taillights that are more visible and looks better than on F-150.

2021 Ford Ranger Powertrain
The newest 2021 Ford Ranger pickup truck will continue to offer the same engine options as the current one. The first under the hood is the popular 2.3-liter DOHC turbocharged engine. This four-cylinder EcoBoost is able to produce 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. It is available with a 10-speed automatic transmission along with the rear-wheel-drive configuration as the standard. The all-wheel-drive system is optional.
However, the international Ranger will be offered with two engine options. It starts with the 2.5-liter diesel unit that makes 165 HP and 167 lb-ft of torque. The next one is also a diesel 2.0-liter EcoBlue engine. This type of engine is able to crank 210 HP and 370 lb-ft of torque.
