2020 Honda Ridgeline comes with a sharper look
The new 2020 Honda Ridgeline shares basically nothing with its predecessor. Honda replaced an old-fashioned look for a more modern pickup design. The exterior looks clean and upscale, and the front end shares some features such as bumper and grille with the Civic model. The front part looks squared, turn signals are mounted into the lower fascia, just like the fog lights and air inlet.
A three-bar front grille features chrome accents while the squared looks continue to the side also. The side features few accent lines that run above the door handles and are giving new Ridgeline sharper look. At the rear, the tailgate comes in one piece of metal and bed offers lockable storage that is perfect for hiding large stuff.
2020 Honda Ridgeline interior is comfy
The interior of an all-new 2020 Honda Ridgeline is almost the same as the Honda Pilot’s interior. That is not a bad thing, of course, uniqueness does not exist, but on the other hand, the interior is very modern and upscale. Everything inside the cabin is logically arranged, and that includes climate and audio control and numerous other controls.
Higher trim levels are offering Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the ventilation is improved and a new feature is a power-sliding rear window. There is room for up to five passengers and cargo space is good, especially with the rear seats folded flat. A power moonroof is now a standard feature and 2020 Ridgeline offers great safety system. Latest Honda’s pickup will arrive with a single engine option. A 3.5-liter V6 unit will power new 2020 Honda Ridgeline. This mill is capable of producing up to 280 HP and 262 lb-ft of torque.
A 6-speed automatic transmission is available and all-wheel-drive configuration is optional. This drivetrain sports a direct injection system and cylinder deactivation system.
Fuel economy and towing space
Thanks to that, a fuel economy is better and 2020 Honda Ridgeline has 18 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. Towing capacity is rated at 5,000 pounds. The base 2020 Honda Ridgeline model starts at $31,000. Sport model will cost $35,000 and Black Edition around $45,000. An all-wheel-drive setup adds another $2000 and the overall prices are slightly above Chevy Colorado and Toyota Tacoma. The new Ridgeline model will go on sale in the first quarter of 2019.
