The 2019 Jeep Scrambler hybrid is a pickup truck that will soon arrive on the markets and it is the best version so far. After the months of waiting and the leaked spy shots, Jeep finally confirmed this model for the next year. The model will offer an astonishing performance and will provide great interior comfort.
The 2019 Jeep Scrambler hybrid will also offer one of the class-leading payload and tow ratings. This pickup will get its first hybrid variant as well. Moreover, the new model will arrive as slightly wider and longer vehicle, so keep on riding for the latest updates and information.
2019 Jeep Scrambler hybrid exterior is retro and unique
The exterior will look very aggressive. As we said, the 2019 Jeep Scrambler hybrid pickup truck is wider by two inches and the wheelbase is longer than on the previous model. Generally, the stability is now much better which is a good thing. Plenty of aluminum materials can be found all over the body, especially around the doors that are now easier to remove.
Generally, Scrambler is a very practical pickup truck. Moreover, unlike on the previous models, folding windshield now can be done in a few seconds. The windshield is held by four bolts now, while the previous models featured 28 of them. Storage boxes are bigger, and center step on the rear bumper provides easier access. Two hooks and a trailer hitch are now standard on every trim level.
The interior of the all-new 2019 Jeep Scrambler hybrid pickup truck is the same as the Wrangler Unlimited version. Plenty of stuff is taken from that model, from the dash to the infotainment system. The cabin now holds many premium materials so most of the hard plastics are gone. The infotainment system adds an 8.4-inch touchscreen and the UConnect system is very responsive and user-friendly. On top of that, the new Scrambler gets even more standard equipment that was optional in the years before.
2019 Jeep Scrambler powertrain
This pickup truck will arrive with the same engine as the Wrangler SUV model. The base unit is a 2.0-liter turbocharged drivetrain. This four-cylinder engine produces 296 hp and is compatible with the hybrid system. Optional 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 is optional and it generates 315 HP and 280 lb-ft of torque. If you are a fan of the off-roading, Jeep offers a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel output that can burst 240 HP and 420 lb-ft of torque.
2019 Jeep Scrambler hybrid engine
A hybrid variant will use a standard 2.0-liter engine and a single electric motor. Hybrid drivetrain will also benefit from the eTorque and stop/start technology. The exact specs are yet to be announced, but we expect the same amount of horses and twists.
On the other hand, fuel economy will be among the best-in-class figures for sure. All engines are available with the 8-speed automatic transmission and an optional four-wheel drive configuration.
