The all-new 2020 Lincoln Mark LT pickup truck will hit the dealerships later this year and that includes the U.S. markets as well. The model was discounted a decade ago after the Ford introduced the F-150 model. However, Mark LT was available in Mexico until 2014. Now, the luxurious pickup is making a comeback. It will borrow plenty of stuff from the Lincoln Navigator SUV.
According to reliable sources, the 2020 Mark LT will arrive as a Limited Edition. We can expect more premium cabin than the current F-150 model. Moreover, those two pickups will use the same architecture and will be similar in so many ways. The exterior will borrow some cues from the Navigator model and Mark LT will also deploy Navigator’s V6 powertrain.
2020 Lincoln Mark LT Iconic Styling Cues
Premium exterior design is no less than we expect from Lincoln’s designers. This pickup will arrive as a Limited Edition only and the 2020 Lincoln Mark LT will arrive as the next-generation model. That means more significant upgrades will happen. We can’t say it is a complete redesign or a total revamp. The shape and the dimensions are intact and some iconic styling cues are still present. However, the new pickup will look stylish and elegant like never before.
The front end hosts unique headlights and the iconic trapezoidal grille. Bumpers will be larger than before and more aluminum materials are available. Thanks to that, the overall weight is significantly reduced. Standard 18-inch wheels are looking attractive. Moreover, the rest of the body will get some styling cues that are borrowed from the Lincoln Navigator SUV.
2020 Lincoln Mark LT To Provide
The next-generation 2020 Lincoln Mark LT will deliver astonishing cabin with very upscale materials. You won’t find many luxurious pickup trucks on the market than the Mark LT. The arriving model will deliver a premium interior, similar to the interior of the Navigator model.
That includes the same leather upholstery, same dash, and the same interior layout. Tech-wise, Mark LT will offer amazing high-tech features and systems. The infotainment system is up to date and the 10-inch touchscreen will be standard. Moreover, you can expect a variant with a longer bed.
2020 Lincoln Mark LT Powertrain
The upcoming 2020 Lincoln Mark LT will use the same powertrain as the Lincoln Navigator SUV. It is a 3.5-liter V6 that comes with the 10-speed automatic transmission. This engine will be the only engine in the offer, at least for 2020.
It can produce up to 450 horses and 500 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy won’t be the same after all this is a pickup truck. On the other hand, the pickup comes with less weight and improved aerodynamics. Whatsoever, this is a premium engine so the “smooth sail” is guaranteed. Top speed will be rated at 125 mph and we can’t wait to see the acceleration figures.
