The approaching 2019 Mazda BT-50 will come with two engine options. The first option is a 3.2-liter five-cylinder turbodiesel engine and is capable of producing 185 HP and 350lb-ft of torque. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder SkyActiv is an option as well.
Like on almost all of Mazda’s vehicles, the BT-50 comes with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard while all-wheel drive setup is optional.
2019 Mazda BT-50 Price, Release Date and Rivals
The 2019 Mazda BT-50 will come with the slight price increase, as every new-generation model. However, the price is still more than fair as BT-50 starts at $30,000.
The release date will be in the middle of 2019. The BT-50 midsize-pickup will find a tough competition in rivals such as VW Amarok, Chevy Colorado, Nissan Navara, Toyota Hilux and of course Ford Ranger.
