Nissan will offer three powertrain choices this time. A 2.5-liter gasoline engine is standard once again. This unit is producing 155 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. Optional 4.0-liter generates 265 hp and 285 lb-ft of twist. Both gasoline units are available with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Whatsoever, Frontier can tow up to 6,500 pounds. Third powertrain option is the all-new diesel engine. The 2020 Nissan Frontier Diesel is now offering a 2.3-liter engine. This engine will become available in the United States as well. It delivers over 300 lb-ft of torque. However, we are still waiting for the exact horsepower rating. We expect around 200 horses and 25 mpg combined fuel economy.

New 2020 Nissan Frontier Diesel will arrive with the price that starts at $25,000. Just to compare, the regular gasoline variant is priced at $21,000. The upcoming mid-size pickup truck will be available in numerous trim levels.
