The 2020 Ram Rebel is confirmed and it will bring even more updates. This off-road pickup truck will deliver beefier look with further exterior refinements. Moreover, Rebel comes with the astonishing list of the off-road equipment and more configurations will be in the offer too.
The interior comes with great comfort, smart storage solutions, and the Red interior scheme. The 2020 model will also get new tires, dampers, and the air springs. The exterior looks even more aggressive and tackling tough terrains won’t be a problem for this truck. Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, Ford Raptor and Chevy Silverado Trail Boss are coming to the markets, so Ram really needs to raise the bet.
2020 Ram Rebel will get Bilstein dampers
The biggest part of the exterior will stay intact. However, some upgrades are more than visible. Bilstein dampers are all-new, just like the new set of tires. You can now opt for the 18 or 20-inch wheels depending on trim, but you will get new Goodyear tires. A one-inch suspension is available too and the ride height is increased slightly.
Electronic locking rear differential will remain, just like the skid plates and additional off-roading gear. The overall exterior design looks aggressive and we must say the styling is very unique. Tow hooks are standard and the front grille gets a small revise. Steel bumpers are providing even more aggressiveness and generally, this off-road beast is everything but subtle.
2020 Ram Rebel interior design
The interior of the 2020 Ram Rebel will look even better than before. In its respective segment, Rebel is one luxurious model for sure. The technology is great, just like comfort. Leather upholstery is standard, along with the Harman Kardon audio system.
A 12-inch touchscreen is still present and it offers amazing interface. Unfortunately, a 12.0-inch Uconnect display is not available on this model.
However, the biggest change for the 2020 Rebel will be a Red interior scheme. The seats are finished in red and black upholstery, while the door panels and air vents are all-red. Even some accents on the steering wheel and the dash will get the same treatment. Overall, the cabin is really comfortable and inviting.
2020 Ram Rebel powertrain info
The forthcoming 2020 Ram Rebel comes with the same engine as the current model. It is a 6.2-liter Hemi V8 that can deliver up to 520 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission is the only choice with this powertrain. We are still waiting for the confirmation of the same supercharged unit that will return 700 horses and 640 lb-ft of torque.
Moreover, a hybrid variant will happen in the near future. A mild hybrid eTorque system should become available at some point and it will deliver more or less the same level of performance. However, expect a high increase in the fuel economy department.
2020 Ram Rebel price and availability
